These incredible student innovators took the state by storm, making it all the way to the 2026 STARTedUP Challenge Finals at Butler Bulldogs University! Representing Region 4 as a Wildcard team, they pitched their brilliant venture, NAM, on the big stage at Clowes Memorial Hall.

Out of a record-breaking 1,174 teams from all across Indiana, Mason, Aris, and Noah proved they are among the top young entrepreneurial minds in the state. Only 10 teams made it to the state finals! From pitching to top business leaders to participating in the exclusive 4-day state INnovation Tour, these Cavemen are truly building the future.

Mishawaka High School’s Leon Fowler, the 2026 Indiana State Champion in the Long Jump, has qualified for the New Balance Nationals Outdoor Championships at Franklin Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Leon captured the State Championship with a winning jump of 24 feet, 6 inches. The jump also established a new Mishawaka High School record and earned him the opportunity to compete against some of the nation’s best athletes at New Balance Nationals.
