4th Street is finally back open but we'll be closed until Tuesday, October 15! The website is still up to sign up for classes and you can reach out to me with any questions in the meantime. See you when we get back!

4th Street and 3rd Street and Beall Ct may all be closed at Church but we are still open this afternoon! You can get to us from Race St or Pine St (or Cedar or Laurel or Merrifield or Wenger or Mason or Campbell or Byrkit or Victoria - you have so many options!). We have all ages art club at 5:15 this afternoon or adults only art club at 6:30!

You know, I kept meaning to post a joke about how my sign got covered up by out-of-control sunflowers... But thanks to the wind last night I guess my joke is no longer relevant. Can't hide behind them (jokes or sunflowers) today 🤣🤷🏼‍♀️

WEDNESDAY, JULY 24 Presenter Mary Grace Pottenger

Mary Pottenger, MA, LMHCA, ATR-P, Founder and Owner of The Process Art Studio, LLC.

Mary was looking for a cozy space where others can feel comfortable to create art, try new things, and connect with others. She decided to create this place herself in August 2023 and has been growing her business ever since. The Process Art Studio offers a variety of classes for all ages. Mary is working towards her art therapy credentials and emphasizes self-care and mental health in everything she does. With this in mind, The Process has collaborated with home school groups and social service agencies to bring art to a wide variety of places. Mary has been an artist her entire life and has worked in mental health for 10 years. The Process has provided the perfect space for her to combine her two passions.

Outside of her work, Mary spends her time with her cats and trying new things. She gets bored with routine so is always finding ways to change up her schedule. This often includes traveling, concerts, and the outdoors.

My employees were demanding a place to scratch their claws. Have they used it once? No! But I had fun making it and will probably never do it again😹 However, I am thinking about a workshop where we can make some cat toys. Be on the lookout!
