Our first fundraiser of the new school year has begun! Order labels for every child (grandchild, niece, nephew, etc) so their belongings don't get lost at school, church, or camps! All orders are shipped directly to you and we earn 20% of the sales.

A small crew came today for the gardening activity this morning! After the groundhog story we looked for evidence of groundhogs in our spade and create our own garden path maps. We played “I spy” as we looked for something tiny (rocks, flowers, ants and even a frog). FYI: Lettuce leaves and some radishes are ready to be picked!

Mrs. Gleissner is in the garden tomorrow to read a story and do some map activities, from 10-11:30 (unless the rain shortens our time)!

House area had lots of rain water to cook with and many enjoyed working there this morning; block area and sandbox were busy too along with the playground structures. It was a perfect morning to play outside! Thanks to all the families who attended! (See you July 10th to meet the 3/4’s teachers).

Another fun morning in the garden! Hearing the story, playing hide and seek with the garden gnome, writing about what is growing and then playground time!

Tomorrow’s garden activity (10-11:30) will be listening to “How to Catch a Garden Fairy” then play some hide and seek with our garden gnomes. We will probably make a book about our garden too!
