The 7th grade girls track who won Big 11 walked the halls today to be cheered on by their peers. What a way to end Coach Taylor's career as head coach!

Three of the four Grissom PTO Scholarship recipients gave acceptance speeches at the 8th Grade Ceremony yesterday. This year we had an unprecedented number of applicants for this $1,000 Scholarship...33 total applications were received, reviewed by the Scholarship committee, and discussed. There was a lot of competition this year, and we wish we could honor all deserving applicants, but we could only choose four. Academics, volunteer history, extra Curricular, job history, and additional consideration for students with special circumstances were reviewed.

All Scholarship recipients were prior Grissom students for all three years and current graduating Penn seniors (some applicants were early graduating juniors).

We still are in need of A LOT of donations and volunteers! Please consider helping us out!
