🌟 We were thrilled to have four of our Milton Rose scholars attend the North Carolina Academy of Sciences meeting this past weekend alongside Dr. Reichenberg and Dr. McCallum. It was an exciting opportunity to engage with the scientific community, share ideas, and celebrate a shared passion for discovery. We’re so proud of our scholars and grateful for experiences like this that inspire the next generation of scientists! 🔬✨

Our Wildlife and Conservation biology course welcomed Mitchell East as a guest lecturer today. Mitch is a Data Manager with the NC National Heritage Program within the NC Department of Natural and Cultural Resources. He spoke to the class about using GIS to maintain a database of wildlife inventories and important habitats across the state.
