This summer Yosh Krupa attended an internship at Catoctin CrossFit. It was an amazing experience where he was able to learn how to apply knowledge from Anatomy and Physiology Courses to practical examples. He also experienced the CrossFit training hisself, learned new exercises and how the coaches develop the programs. Overall, it was an amazing experience that allowed Yosh to create bonds in a new community.

Congratulations Kennedy Laney! She successfully completed the Honors Scholars Program this week with the successful defense of her thesis, “How Cultural Backgrounds Affect the Outcomes of Addiction Therapies.” We are so proud of all you accomplished in your two years at Pfeiffer including the honors program. Huge congratulations to Savannah Faircloth for completing the requirements of the Honors Scholar Program. Yesterday, she defended her thesis project, “Effects of a Student-Led Fitness Program on University Faculty Hand Grip Strength.” Savannah helped get the faculty SWEAT program off the ground and many of us benefited having someone make us keep up with our workouts! Savannah will continue on to Pfeiffer’s Occupational Therapy Program this fall. We were lucky to have you as part of the Honors Scholars Program and Department of Natural and Health Sciences.
