Last week, we released the Annual Status of Women Report for Miami-Dade County.

As we recognize Women’s History Month and (Un)Equal Pay Day, we are reminded of the persistent gap in earnings.

Today, March 26 marks how far into the year women must work to finally catch up to what men earned last year. Nearly three extra months for the same pay.

The data is clear. The work continues.

Last Thursday, our Associate Director, Dr. Maria Ilcheva, joined an inspiring panel discussion on women’s leadership and sustainability at “Leading the Change: Women Shaping a Sustainable Future.”

The event, organized by the Broward County Commission on the Status of Women and chaired by iamselines , brought together leaders committed to advancing sustainability, equity, and community impact across South Florida.
