Secondary students who are not in music classes are welcome to submit a video to the talent show. Please follow the rules below. We look forward to seeing all your friendly faces and enjoying a taste of your talents!
Assignment Requirements & Rules
1. Submit a video by posting to the Mrs. Herzog’s Music and Art Connection page https://www.facebook.com/herzogmusicartconnection/
no later than 4 PM, Wednesday, May 20th. Submitted videos will be viewed by Mrs. Herzog for approval and not posted on page for general viewing. All videos will be used to create one large video presentation.
(If you do not have a Facebook account, please email me and we will arrange a way to send the video via another means.)
2. Videos should begin with announcing student’s name.
3. Videos should be no shorter than 30 seconds and no longer than 1 minute and 30 seconds. There should be quite a few videos, so give us the best part of your talent show act. We want the talent show video to be a manageable length for everyone to view.
4. Videos can be performed with only movement or voice. Additional creativity, such as music tracks, instruments, staging, & costumes will provide additional credit on your grade.
5. Please be sure that all music and acts are family friendly.
6. Family members may perform together for full credit. For example; if you have 3 children, they can all do a skit, song, dance, etc… together. Parents can participate with their children too. Have fun!
