From feeling different textures to observing colors and practicing hand-eye coordination, each experience supports their natural curiosity and development.
In the Nido House, infants are encouraged to explore at their own pace, building confidence, concentration, and independence from the very beginning. 💛

One of the things families love most about our program is the amount of time we spend outside. Our large outdoor playground gives children plenty of space to run, climb, explore, imagine, and grow while enjoying fresh air and active play every day.
Outdoor experiences are an important part of Montessori learning, helping children build confidence, coordination, independence, creativity, and social skills. Whether they're navigating obstacle courses, playing group games, or discovering nature, every outdoor moment is an opportunity to learn. 💚

💦 Learning extends beyond the classroom! 💦

Some of our Children’s House students have been heading to swimming lessons this week, where they continued developing confidence, coordination, and water safety skills. We love providing opportunities for growth both in and out of the learning environment. 🏊‍♀️✨

🚀✨ Children’s House 2 is wrapping up an out-of-this-world Space Week! All week long, our young explorers discovered planets, stars, astronauts, and the wonders of our solar system through hands-on learning, creativity, and imagination. 🌎🌙⭐
From building rockets to learning about the sun and beyond, our students showed curiosity, concentration, and a love of discovery. 🚀💫

🌸🌼Summer Vibes at MM🌼🌸

✨🦋 This week our toddler community released the butterflies they cared for and watched grow in their classroom! What an amazing way to experience the butterfly life cycle firsthand and celebrate the beauty of nature. 🦋✨

At Midwest Montessori, the safety, privacy, and well-being of every child are at the heart of everything we do.

After thoughtful consideration, we have made the decision to no longer share photos that show our students' faces on our social media platforms.

While we love celebrating the joy, discovery, and growth that happen in our classrooms each day, we also recognize the importance of protecting children's digital privacy and respecting each family's comfort level regarding online sharing.

Moving forward, we will continue sharing special moments with our families on Brightwheel. We'll also continue to share the snippets of our days—capturing hands-on learning, creative projects, classroom environments, and the wonder of childhood—without identifying individual children.
