We need your help. Who wants to join in the fun?

If you haven't completed this yet, a paper copy was sent home this week. Every form helps!

Please share this post:
In the past, the State’s funding formula relied on property valuation when determining a town’s ability to contribute to education. For example, Poland’s property valuation exceeds $1 billion, which makes the community appear to have a greater ability to pay simply because of its property valuation.
The new funding formula looks beyond property valuation. It also takes into account the economic status of the students and families who live in our communities. This gives the State a more complete picture of each community’s ability to support education locally.
The information helps the State determine RSU 16’s share of education funding and the amount our communities are expected to contribute locally.
We want RSU 16 to receive every dollar of State education funding for which our students and communities are eligible. Completing the form helps make sure the State has the accurate information it needs to make that calculation.
We are at 70% completion!
If you have not completed the form, it was re-sent through ReachMyTeach, please complete it there. This is the preferred method.
If you are unable to complete the form electronically, please complete the attached paper form and return it to your child's school or on our website.
