Registration is now open for the 2023 North Dakota Council for Exceptional Children (NDCEC) Conference! This conference is for special education staff, regular education teachers, and administration. It's going to be a great conference!

Today marks the 46th anniversary of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). Decades ago, Congress pledged that the federal share of funding would be 40% of average per-pupil expenditures, but it has yet to come close to that promise. Currently, the federal share is ~14%.
