Today, on what would have been his 97th birthday, we celebrate Eric Carle's ongoing inspiration and creative spirit.

This photo was taken at the Museum during an exhibition celebrating the 50th anniversary of "The Very Hungry Caterpillar". His hopeful story continues to inspire readers of all ages to spread their wings. 🦋

. 📚 ❤️ We’re already working to sort and organize book donations for our Fall Book Sale! THANK YOU to all who have thought of us during spring clean out and rummage sale season!! 😊
If you have books to donate to our program, either for us to use with our clientele or for our sale, call for drop off or pickup arrangements since our building doesn’t have regular summer hours.
We have an office/storage area gifted to us by the Minot Adult Learning Center where you can drop your donations off during the school year.
Voice mail only: 701-852-2614, so we will return your call. Please tell us you’re inquiring about book donations and give us a name.

THANKS to everyone for making our Spring BOOK & BAKE Sale a success. From donors to volunteers who helped stack and sort to shoppers alike, we appreciate it! We'll start sorting and shelving again with fresh donations for a fall sale.

It’s our legendary $5.00 a bag sale for everything in the room—with a few specials! Bags are supplied by Gate City Bank of Minot, so just bring your love of reading and we’ll handle the rest. All proceeds support the Minot Literacy mission!

It’s National Donate a Book Day!

Bring those books to us; we have a little space inside the Minot Adult Learning Center and their secretary can accept them for us at the front desk.

National Donate a Book Day is celebrated on April 14 by readers across the U.S. Whether it’s new or gently used books, you’re encouraged to donate them to your local libraries. If the books are not added to the libraries’ collections, they’ll hand them to Friends of Libraries. The Friends of Libraries use donated books to load their book sale fundraisers for the library. So, donate yours to a local public library as a means to share knowledge with others.
