Pay it Forward Services-Minot

Good evening everyone I hope you are all doing well. I know we have not been very active on this page lately as this last year has been a whirlwind. I was wondering if there are any elderly or disabled individuals that are in need of a dishwasher?I have someone who would like to pay it forward. They could possibly deliver, but you would need someone to install it for you.

We have a request for a bed frame and mattress/box spring for an elderly lady. Does anyone have one to part with? Transport/setup would be needed as well.

Please remember if you know an individual with medical needs or an elderly individuals 60+ that is currently receiving fuel assistance they could be eligible to get an air conditioning unit installed.

The Missouri Slope Labor Council, AFL-CIO in partnership with the North Dakota AFL-CIO, the North Dakota Building Trades Unions, and the Saint Paul Regional Labor Federation, will be hosting a free food giveaway at the IBEW Local 714 Union Hall (125 35th Ave NE Minot, ND 58703) on Saturday, May 15, at 10 AM.
Food distribution will be done on a first-come-first-serve basis while supplies last. A semi will drop off 1300 30lb food boxes, as well as milk, which will be available to anyone through a contactless drive-through pick-up in the designated parking lot. Union volunteers and local labor leaders will be taking care of the food distribution and logistics for this event.

I’ve been watching the Farmers to Families website and haven’t found any deliveries coming to Minot in the near future, at least not until after June. With that said, they are out there giving out food boxes in other areas of North Dakota. Here’s the link with the dates and locations that are published so far. Please share with anyone you know who may be in a city having an event.

Hi everyone! It’s the season to open the windows and get in some fresh air! Also time for yard work. So....anyone who is willing to help our seniors and disabled persons with any mowing, please let us know. And if you are a senior or disabled in need, shoot us a message to include if you have a mower a volunteer can use. May have more volunteers than lawn mowers that can be hauled from house to house.
