What An Exciting IPSE Day! ♥️

Governor Kelly Armstrong visited Minot State to sign a proclamation officially declaring May 1 as IPSE Day in North Dakota. ASTEP students, mentors, staff, supporters, and President Steven Shirley gathered on campus for this monumental event and to celebrate the power of Inclusive Postsecondary Education (IPSE).

The celebration stretched across the state, with our partners at North Dakota State University hosting a viewing party with TAP students, while Valley City State University’s Viking Pathway program and remote staff joined in to celebrate and show their support as well.

What a powerful moment for inclusion, opportunity, and belonging in North Dakota.

Behind every successful project is a dedicated professional managing the details and solving problems before they even begin. We are so thankful to have Jodi Patchen, who ensures everything runs smoothly and somehow still finds time to answer our millions of “quick questions,” all while caring so genuinely for our students and staff.
