❄️🥶 WINTER IS COMING… AND SO ARE THE CHILLY WALKS! 🧤🧣

Hey, Youth Center Families! 👋

As much as we’d love to pretend winter isn’t right around the corner, North Dakota has other plans! 😂

With temperatures dropping, please help us keep our kiddos warm, safe, and dressed for the weather!

🚶‍♂️ WALKING TO NORTH PLAINS

The Youth Center will continue walking children to North Plains Elementary, weather permitting, as long as temperatures (including wind chill) remain 15°F or above.

🚫 No walking in snow, rain, or icy conditions.

🧥 BUNDLE THOSE KIDDOS UP!

Please make sure your child arrives with:

* 🧥 A warm, heavy winter coat
* 🧤 Gloves or mittens
* 🧢 A warm hat
* 🧣 Layers appropriate for the temperature

Remember, we’re raising North Dakota-tough kids, but that doesn’t mean they need to feel the tundra! 🥶😂

🚌 IMPORTANT BUSING UPDATE!

Starting November 1st, Yellowfin will officially take over transportation!

Until then, the Youth Center will continue handling transportation.

📩 ACTION REQUIRED: Families must submit their completed Yellowfin bus transportation forms directly to:

📧 [email protected]

Please get those forms submitted to help ensure a smooth transportation transition!

💙 Thank you for helping us keep our Youth Center kiddos warm, safe, and ready for whatever Mother Nature decides to throw at us!

Stay warm, Minot! Winter isn’t playing around! ❄️

🚨📅 ATTENTION, FAMILIES! 📅🚨

🍂 Heads up! A little October schedule reminder!

The Child Development Center (CDC) and Youth Center will be CLOSED on Monday, October 12th!

🎒 BUT WAIT! School is still in session, so don’t let the closures fool you! Those backpacks still need to make it out the door! 😂

📌 Mark your calendars and plan accordingly!

Thank you for your understanding! 🍁

🎃🍂 OH MY GOURD, IT’S PUMPKIN WALK TIME! 🍂🎃

Tonight kicks off the FIRST night of the Pumpkin Walk at Woodland Trail! 👻✨ (October 9, 10, 11)

If you’re heading out for some fall fun, keep your eyes peeled for some extra-special pumpkins! 👀🎨

Our talented Minot AFB Youth Center kiddos have been busy painting their little hearts out, and their pumpkin masterpieces will be on display! 🎃🖌️

So grab your flannels, bundle up, and take a stroll through the pumpkin magic! 🍁🧡

🎃 Come for the pumpkins, stay for the creativity, and show our Youth Center artists some LOVE! 🫶
