Fieldcrest Primary would like to thank Heather Payton, Clayton Shirley, and Sydney McKay for taking time out of their day to visit our students during Fire Prevention Week! They shared information about firefighter equipment, fire safety, and answered our students’ questions.

We are especially proud that all three are members of our local community and former Fieldcrest students! It’s always special to see former Knights giving back to our community and helping educate the next generation. 💙🤍

Thank you for your time, your service, and all you do to keep our community safe! We appreciate you! 👨‍🚒👩‍🚒🚒

First grade celebrated Dot Day on September 15th! The Dot by Peter H. Reynolds is a 2003 children's picture book about a young girl named Vashti who discovers her hidden artistic talent through a simple act of encouragement. First graders celebrated Dot Day by reading the story, brainstorming different ways to make dots with crayons and tempera paint stix, singing, and having lots of fun!
