The “2026-2027 Best High Schools” rankings are based on a combination of factors: college readiness and college curriculum breadth (measured by 2024 AP exam data); state assessment proficiency and performance, including outcomes for underserved students, from the 2023-24 academic year; and graduation rate for the Class of 2024.
“This ‘Best High Schools’ ranking reflects the outstanding teaching and learning happening at Westonka every day,” said Assistant Superintendent for Teaching and Learning Mark Femrite. “It’s validating to see Westonka High School ranked so highly based on data from a couple of years ago. We’ve continued to build on those results, and the progress we’ve seen since then gives us even more reason to be proud of the positive momentum at WHS.”
