Coffee Fundraiser

As our 8th graders get ready to wrap up their time at Hopkins West, the PTO is kicking off the fun by raising money for the 8th Grade Celebration Fund—from the Valleyfair adventure to the end‑of‑year celebration.

To keep the excitement (and the parents) energized, we’re hosting a Coffee Fundraiser on Friday, May 15 during the morning drop‑off line. Whether you’re craving coffee, juice, donuts, or muffins, there’s definitely something to jump‑start your morning and boost the celebration fund!

Please order in advance with the attached QR code.

Your support helps make these milestone moments unforgettable.

Vote for Ms, Nicholls’ CREW for Conservation

Hopkins West Middle School's Conservation Crew has concentrated on educating students on recycling and composting. Students made two posters for composting and one for recycling so students and staff would not just learn more about recycling/composting, they would also do it themselves at home or in future careers! Crew members also planted some flowers outside for pollinators or other insects, hopefully improving our outside spaces.

Growing Up workshop

myHealth is hosting a Growing Up workshop for Hopkins families (any relation to district) with young people ages 8-12. It is on Saturday, March 14th from 9am-12pm in the Media Center at Hopkins North Middle School.

This fun, interactive three-hour session is all about helping families feel more comfortable talking about puberty and all the changes that come with growing up. We’ll share ways for parents, caregivers, and kids to have supportive, affirming, and honest conversations during this important time of change — and have some laughs along the way!

Whether families are just starting to talk about these topics or already having open conversations, everyone will leave with new ideas and a stronger sense of connection.

Details!
* Date: Saturday, March 14th
* Location: Hopkins North Middle School Media Center
* Time: 9am - 12pm
* Who: Students between the ages 8-12 and their parents/caregivers
