Agape Christi Academy

Eighth-grader Liv Breitbarth earned a first-place finish in the 1600m at the Minnesota State High School League Section 4A State Qualifying Meet, finishing first out of 26 runners with a time of 5:23.96. She also earned a second-place finish in the 3200m with a time of 11:57.11, qualifying for State in both events.

While we highlight Liv's accomplishment, she would be the first to say she is part of a team. We are proud of every athlete who made tremendous strides this season under Coach Emmett's leadership. The fruit of a classical Christian education extends far beyond the classroom and even into the extracurricular opportunities that help cultivate growth, discipline, perseverance, and grit.

The student art galleries on display during the Arts Festival and through the end of the school year brighten our halls! Featuring landscapes, pottery, and artist imitation, take a look at some first-prize winners and keep an eye out for them at the Minnesota State Fair this fall!

The second grade class presented an adaptation from one of their favorite literature books, "Boy of the Pyramids" by Ruth Fosdick Jones. Students loved uncovering the mystery of what happened to some missing jewels during the construction of the Great Pyramid while expanding their world with cultural details of ancient Egypt.

From the moment a young, unknown boy pulls a sword from a stone to the triumphant search for the Holy Grail, the legend of King Arthur has captivated audiences for centuries. The third grade class shared three beloved stories of the Arthurian saga: The Two Swords, the Knight of the Kitchen, and the Quest for the Holy Grail.

The Spring Playhouse is an opportunity for PK-2 students to take the stage in character, and they are eager to do so! Memorizing lines, following director's instructions, and speaking with expression are excellent preparations for future rhetoric students.
