We don’t normal talk about dogs on this page, but how can we not share this beauty. Apparently she loves baseball and is looking for someone to run life’s bases with. 🥰

This hits close to home today as we are on our third trip to as many practices and it’s only 12:20! 😳 We are keenly aware that in just a few short years our driving to practice days will be behind us. 🥹

Now this is an umpire we’d like to meet!

Coach Dan’s one and done appearance in the local men’s baseball league last night was, well, a unique experience. 😉
Dan did great! He managed several plays in the outfield and scored the game winning RBI on a solid single. 🏆
He did get yelled at for not diving for a ball (he’s too old for that), he may have bailed out of the batter’s box due to a extreme curve ball (eek!) and the kids learned several new swear words (color commentary was in full effect 😳).
All and all, it was nice to see him on the field and we’re proud of him for putting himself out there.
Way to go, Coach Dan!

Roll reversal.

Coach Dan will be Player Dan in a men’s baseball game this Sunday. To prepare, Campbell got to pitch to him today!

Baseball is often so much more than the game.

Our team is on a lightning delay, so, they figured out a way to play a video game on their phones against the other team. So much hooting and hollering between dugouts!

So. Much. Fun!

Coach Dan’s latest conversation while coaching 3rd base….

The scene: Opposing team’s pitcher and catcher are talking on the mound and being sure to cover their mouths while talking.

Coach Dan jokingly says to 3rd baseman:
“You can tell your teammates we can’t read lips.”

3rd baseman:
“Ugh, they’re so extra.”

Coach Dan:
😳😳😳🤣🤣🤣
