Kurt will be studying abroad for the semester with us in Namibia and South Africa.

"Hello - my name is Kurt and I am a rising senior at Clark university studying International Development. Outside of school I enjoy hanging out with friends, reading, and spending time with my dog, Ernie and 2 cats, Rosita and Mooby. This fall I will be going on CGEE's Decolonizing the Mind: Racial and Environmental Justice program in South Africa and Namibia, and I am so excited to share my journey along the way!"

Introducing our next ambassador: Raven from Sarah Lawrence College.

WOW the Summer has flown by and we are already preparing to host our next FALL 2026 SEMESTER groups of students at all the Augsburg CGEE locations!

Today we’re starting with our very own globe-trotting Auggie, Everlyn! She’ll be studying for a semester in Norway on the program, Social Systems, Sustainability, and Justice in Norway 🇳🇴

Summer pt. 3!
We went to Mexico City and visited the huge library Vasconcelos and the Basilica de Guadalupe, a very important church for Mexico and Latin America.
We also had an excursion to Puebla and enjoyed walking the colorful streets, eating, and shopping ⛪🏙️🌞

There have been a lot of celebrations around, from the World Cup inauguration, to the local fair, a concert and some fun events!

Summer program in Mexico! Pt. 1

We've been exploring different parts of central Mexico, mountains, lakes, and ancient temples while we also learn Spanish in our intensive courses.

On May 17th we got to spend the day celebrating Norway’s Constitution day in Oslo. We watched the parade and enjoyed each other’s company as we are nearing the end of our time here! 🇳🇴

Ahhhhhh I can’t believe we’re leaving TOMORROW. I loved living in Mexico, I can’t wait to go back. I loved our classes and our professors and our guest lecturers and our field trips and our home stays. I love my home stay dads. I loved going out into Mexico’s night life for the first time, encouraged by my friends in the program. I love the friends I’ve made in my program! Whoever was in charge of study abroad admissions knew what they were doing because it didn’t take long for us to click. Forever grateful for the connections and memories I made here, Les amo cada de ustedes. ❤️🇲🇽
