The Seeds of Change (SOC) science program immerses students in tropical field research in the rainforests and cloud forests of northwestern Costa Rica. The purpose of the program is to enhance the biosceince education for high school students. One of the SOC partner schools, Germantown Friends, donated drums to the local Costa Rican High School, Liceo Rural Valle Verde. We are asking for donations to support a drumline coach to prepare Valle Verde students for the Costa Rican Independence Day Parade in mid-September.
