The mission of the Office for Business & Community Economic Development (BCED) is to contribute to the economic growth, development and prosperity of MN.
The purpose of BCED is to leverage and extend the assets, resources and knowledge of the University to help find innovative solutions to real-world social-economic problems in urban communities. We facilitate community collaborations between the University and nonprofit, corporate and public sector partners that focus on enhancing the human condition and building community capacity.

The Technology Empowerment Center will resume classes online, starting May 4th.
Check out the flyer below to see what classes we will be offering the first week of May.

AALF empathizes with the health and economic concerns our community is experiencing around the potential impacts of COVID-19, and we intend to be responsive to the needs of our network contributors (1,500+ African American Thought Leaders, Builders, Influencers, & Ambassadors), as well as our affiliates and the Black community at large.
