Thanks to the generosity of our Avail Academy community through the Impact Drive, work is underway on a new roof at our Blaine campus. This important improvement helps ensure our facilities remain safe and functional.

Thank you to Avail Academy Edina alumnus, Davis Wurst!

Davis graduated from Avail 2023 and is completing the requirements to earn the prestigious rank of Eagle Scout. As part of that journey, Eagle Scout candidates must plan, develop, and lead a service project that benefits a school or community organization.

Wanting to give back to the school community that helped shape him, Davis chose to complete his project at Avail. His contribution? A beautiful new crate for Lumen, our therapy dog at the Edina campus!

We are grateful for Davis's leadership, initiative, and servant-hearted commitment to our school community.

This year also marked an exciting new beginning as we welcomed Avail’s inaugural PreK students.

From our youngest learners to our graduating seniors, we’ve had the joy of watching students grow in knowledge, faith, creativity, confidence, and community throughout this year.

We’re grateful for the ways these students have shaped Avail Academy and excited to see where God leads them next.

In one of the last chapels of the year at Blaine and Edina, the school community began by worshiping and reflecting on what it means to serve others as a response to the gift of Jesus. We spent time in Ephesians 2, learning how Christ breaks down the barriers that divide us and calls us into a new way of living as one body.

Then the chapel moved beyond the walls of the school.

In this “service chapel,” students left the building and stepped into the surrounding neighborhood to put their learning into practice—praying for neighbors, delivering plants, and sharing handwritten cards of encouragement. It was a meaningful expression of love, presence, and blessing.
