UPDATE: The parade is cancelled!
We are excited to announce that Waite Park and our other Northeast MPS schools will be participating in the Celebrate Northeast Parade on Tuesday June 18th! We will walk alongside our fellow Northeast families and have the Edison and Northeast Middle School marching bands nearby too. It will be an excellent event and a wonderful way to show off our Wildcat Pride! Please see the attached image for instructions about tomorrow's parade.

Please join our larger MPS community at an upcoming listening session. Superintendent Dr. Lisa Sayles-Adams is visiting schools across the district to get input for our MPS students and families. The first session is in the cafeteria at Northeast Middle School on Thursday April 25 at 6:00pm. Please enter the building through the south entrance near the large parking lot off of 29th Avenue and Hayes Street. Additional details are below including a way to submit your comments online.
Your voice matters! Superintendent Dr. Lisa Sayles-Adams is going on tour to meet and hear from the MPS community. Your insights are vital and we invite you to help shape the future of MPS at a listening session.

Teacher Appreciation Week is next week, May 8th-12th, and we would like your help in showing our Waite Park teacher's some love! We have emailed some templates for your kids to fill out or to color at home and bring in next week for their favorite teacher and/or specialist. You are also welcome to drop off thank you's at the front office.
We have special treats planned for staff each day of next week. We would also love to chalk some thankful messages around the school next week, so stay tuned for that date when we get a better feel for rain in the forecast.

Support our Girls on the Run team as they complete their community impact project. The team spent this past Saturday morning baking at the Rec Center and are excited to sell you their creations. All money received will be donated to a local charity of the teams choosing. Thank you for supporting our Wildcats!
