👉 Ensure the future of academic medicine in Minnesota and essential financial support to the University of Minnesota Medical School.

Here we are in 1935. Eleanor Jones became the first woman to hold a band officer position at the Band’s banquet May 23, 1935. Women were in the concert band starting in the 1930s but it wouldn’t be until 1972 that they would gain a permanent place in the marching band.
