Our kindergarteners had a roaring good time welcoming a real paleontologist from the University of Minnesota and a dinosaur expert from the Science Museum of Minnesota last week! The students were absolutely thrilled to get a hands-on lesson about fossils and discover what life was like when dinosaurs roamed the earth. A huge thank you to our amazing guest scientists for inspiring our youngest learners and sparking so many big imaginations!

Get ready to find your next favorite story—the Scholastic Book Fair is headed to our school soon! From latest releases to timeless classics, there’s something for every young reader to discover. Students can shop during school, and families can come together during conferences. Teachers will also be making wish lists, so families can purchase books for classroom libraries if they wish.

We ended our Earth Week celebration with a community art project where older students got paired with younger students to decorate our patio and sidewalks featuring the Earth. We love seeing this collaboration!

This week we are celebrating the Earth! Every day each class is taking 15 to 20 minutes to learn something new about how we can take care of our planet. All students are writing on leaves to contribute to our environmental literacy tree. In this picture, you can see our preschool students taking a moment to add their leaves to the tree.
