As we wrap up another memorable school year, we proudly celebrate the Class of 2026 and all they have accomplished. Through hard work, perseverance, and faith, these graduates have left a lasting mark on our community and are prepared for the next chapter of their journey.

We are incredibly grateful for our partnership with Urban Ventures Cornwell Early Learning Center and the opportunity they provided to four of our students this year.

Through their work at the Cornwell Early Learning Center, our students gained hands-on experience supporting teachers and working with young children. During their recent Capstone presentations, they shared a deep appreciation for the dedication, patience, and care that early childhood educators bring to their work every day.

A special thank you to Jen Whelan, Educational Co-Director, for her incredible mentorship and support. Her investment in our students helped them build confidence, develop professional skills, and explore future career paths. In fact, some students have returned and discovered a passion for working in early childhood education.

Partnerships like this do more than provide workplace experience; they help students discover their strengths and envision meaningful futures. When students are trusted with meaningful work and supported by caring mentors, the impact lasts far beyond a single school year. Thank you, Urban Ventures, for helping shape the next generation of leaders and caregivers.

At our End-of-Year Mass, Diana (’27) shared a powerful reflection on this year’s theme, Service to Others. Through her Corporate Work Study experience, she learned that service is more than helping; it is seeing the dignity of others, showing up with purpose, and allowing God to work through ordinary moments. Thank you, Diana, for reminding us what it means to live the Cristo Rey mission.

Something remarkable happened at last week’s UnGala.

Hundreds of Cristo Rey supporters came together in support of our students and mission, raising over $530,000 and nearly doubling the number of donors compared to years past. That momentum reflects a growing community that believes faith, education, and opportunity can transform lives. Whether you were in the room or cheering from afar, you are part of this mission.

Thank you to our generous sponsors and to everyone who continues to show up for Cristo Rey students. There is more to come, and we hope to see you at a future gathering.

Cristo Rey Jesuit High School will be closed on Memorial Day as we remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

May we pause with gratitude for their sacrifice and pray for their families and all who continue to serve.

A huge thank‑you to Homeward Bound for an outstanding first year of partnership. Their team welcomed four student interns, including senior Lizbeth, while providing real‑world experience, access to leadership conferences, and a strong professional support system. Homeward Bound has truly made a meaningful difference in our students' lives. And the best part — they're doubling their interns next year. We're incredibly grateful for the commitment to developing future healthcare leaders.
