I first depicted the idea of warp and weft when working with Charcoal and the “Collot” methods of
Light and Darkness.

Light = Consciousness. Darkness = Matter,
reflecting the weaving of our lives, consciousness and matter as the warp and weft…

This past year I have been thinking about warp and weft as the weaving of the tapestry of our lives in terms of relationships.

People who are woven into our human histories
and the nature of those involvements and interactions.
