Dr. Nelson has worked tirelessly to help create the newest Health Commons in St. Paul and has championed an End-of-Life Care Planning project to help unhoused guests document their end-of-life wishes. Way to go!!

Congratulations to the Department of Nursing for being honored with this year's Distinguished Award in Faculty Innovation! This includes revising all their courses in under two years' time, completing two accreditation reports with zero compliance concerns, and too many other accomplishments to name here. What an amazing group of faculty we have!

We need your help! The American Association of Nurse Practitioners has provided a template for you - NP student, faculty, friend, or community member - to send a letter to the Department of Education related to the rulemaking on the definition of “professional degree." Eliminating nurse practitioners from the definition of a professional degree in our country will have implications for future generations, including the imposition of federal loan limits.
