Meeting Tuesday!
Come out to UPHA this Tuesday, October 24th at 7:00 PM to hear from Team Diarrhea! We'll meet in Moos 2-520 as usual. An awesome group of detective-like epidemiologists who are all hired from the School of Public Health at UMN will be presenting on their work at the Minnesota Department of Health. This group primarily works to collect data on enteric pathogen outbreaks and find the source. Once the food suspects are narrowed down, Team D contacts state and federal agencies to investigate the outbreak. Hear more about this process, what kind of day-to-day activities Team D performs, and some wild food-borne illness stories at our meeting on Tuesday! We will have pizza, too.
