Ms. K has a fun Donors Choose project called "Slaps and Structures." Students in her Focus Math classes are building carnival games from scratch to learn about engineering and math.

Calling all Nighthawk families! Please join us for our next PTA meeting on Wednesday, January 14th.

To make it easier for everyone to attend, we are moving this session to a virtual format via Google Meet instead of our usual in-person gathering.

The NEMS PTA has already exceeded our $3,000 goal and are reaching for a stretch goal of $4,000 to fund school projects and field trips, help provide food security for NEMS families, and ensure continued access to quality education for all. We're two weeks into the new school year, and the NEMS PTA is already busy planning ways to make it a great year for our students, teachers and staff. Here's a checklist for YOU:

1. Mark your calendar for the second Wednesday of each month, that's when the PTA meets. Come one, come all!

2. Want a NEMS sign for your yard or front window? Message us as we'll get one over to you ASAP. Free or by donation.
