I bet my music life looks pretty neurotic from afar😛

One day on stage with a band playing a county fair, the next solo at a bar, then an afternoon at a senior home, teaching a student on zoom, patio tunes, weddings etc

Btw tomorrow Wednesday August 5 I’m joining Jake Nelson at Charlie's On Prior from 5:30-8:30, we play on a dock facing the restaurant and it’s always a good time

Thought I’d tell you about something that has become a major part of my musical life….my duo Weber/St. John 🎻🎹

For just 2 guys with a piano and violin we have managed to eek out quite a system and network of gigging

Like Kurt says…it’s becoming too big a force for us not to see how far it can go

We regularly play senior homes, churches and have ventured into special events like weddings and galas

I must say our song repertoire has quite the range considering only 2 instruments. Everything from classical, sacred and pop songs like Someone like you, Imagine, Every breath you take, Kiss me and lots more

We played a gala last night in a beautiful atrium surrounded by people further validating that we got this!

Always wanted to play there, I’m helping out a friend so it works out for everyone

Summer gigs just keep going and I’m lucky to have it

Today 1-4pm at Dancing Dragonfly Winery with my duo feat. Tony B

My first time playing there. I’ve been a patron and music fan but now get to share some tunes myself, can’t wait!

Otherwise just playing a lot of pickleball and tennis and hangin with the fam, hope you are enjoying the summer!

Snapshots from recent adventures🎻🎵🎤

Im lucky to have had a musical engagement almost every day so far this summer whether it is sharing songs at a senior home, a bar patio, church, wedding, street dance or at a premier festival like Lakes Jam

Been driving all over the place and a little dazed but I am in good form at the moment from all the reps

The Jake Nelson band is off to a blazing start with many more events coming

I got to sit in with some new friends in Leavin’ Page Town which was a blast

My violin/piano duo Weber/St. John is as busy as we’ve ever been with our sights set on next year already

I still get to play solo sometimes like tomorrow Thursday June 9 at Park Tavern 5:30-8

Also playing solo this Saturday at Dancing Dragonfly Winery 1-4pm

Anyway thought I’d pop in and show you what’s been happening in a musicians life, it’s certainly fun and rewarding sharing joy with others!

TONIGHT! Charlie's on Prior is the place to be for all things summer. Ash St. John and I will be live on the landing rocking a bunch of originals and your favorite covers! 5:30-8:30pm!
