Drafting to Win: Effective Litigation Drafting is today's live, in-person seminar at the Minnesota CLE Conference Center. Our first session was "Commencing the Action" presented by Wil Fluegel, who was co-author of the "Minnesota Litigation Forms Deskbook with eFormbook's" Chapter 2. All attendees received a free copy of the Deskbook, with the 2026 update!

Today's live, in-person seminar is Liability on the Move: Government Claims, Employer Fault, and Defending Claims against Uber and Lyft. Course co-chair Andrew Rorvig introduced our first presenter, Jacob M. Tomczik, who spoke on "Joint and Several Liability". Course co-chair Racey Rodne later had his own session on "Case Law Update".
All attendees receive the new 7th Edition of the Minnesota Motor Vehicle Accident Deskbook.

Day 2 of the 2026 Probate & Trust Law Section Conference began with continental breakfast, and breakout sessions!

The Probate Conference Reception was sponsored by Wells Fargo Wealth & Investment Management, and was a great way to end Day 1!

After lunch, breakout sessions filled the afternoon of Day 1 at the Probate & Trust Law Section Conference. Too many to list now, but here are a few of our breakout speakers!

The final morning plenary sessions of the 2026 Probate & Trust Law Conference were "2026 Tax Law Update" with Keri D. Brown, Steven B. Gorin and Tessa R. Mielke moderating, and "Planning with Life Insurance LLCs after Connelly and Huffman" with Steven B. Gorin, speaking again!
The Probate Conference luncheon included a rosemary chicken salad wrap, while the vegetarian/gf/nut-free option was a SW hotdish. Ice cream bars for desert!

The first plenary sessions of the 2026 Probate & Trust Conference are underway! After a welcome by Conference Chair Joel Sommers, The first session was "2026 Non-Tax Case Law Update" with Andrew T. Howard and Robert A. McLeod, followed by "2026 Legislative Update" with Cameron R. Kelly and John A. Wehrly, and "Should Contesting Cost Everything? The Chafoulias Case and No-Contest Clauses" with Cameron R. Kelly and Evan A. Nelson.
Our pubs booth is complete, and RiverCentre's Specialty Granola Bars are still a hit!
