Pancake Breakfast Update: We have had to adjust our plans due to COVID. Similar to last year, we will be distributing Pancake Care Packages rather than having an in person, sit down chow fest. The date is still the same, Saturday, October 2nd 8:00 am--12:00 pm. Drive thru the P.E.A.S.E. Parking Lot and pick up a Care Package ($5). We will also have super cool P.E.A.S.E. Academy Merchandise for sale. Then, take pics of your pancake feast and post pictures with

A historic day. Even though we've had summer programming the past two years, today is the first after school programming during the school year. 4 inaugural youth and our 2 fantastic Peer Recovery Specialists is not a bad way to start.

Today's activities: Get to know you check-in & peer support; dinner on us; and a hike at Willow Creek Park.

We are so grateful to have had the opportunity to find unique ways to get the message out that adolescent recovery is a real thing and that the PEASE Community After-School Program is a data proven best-practice in recovery supports.

Meet our wonderful Peer Recovery Specialist for our After School Program starting September:

My name is Jared and I’m a person in long term recovery! I’m very interested in Basketball, Motorcycle riding, my dog Kiya (she’s a husky), working out, and video games. I’ve been abstinent since 8/28/15 and have completed the Peer Recovery Coach training through Minnesota Recovery Connection. I also have been working at The Retreat, which is a residential rehab for almost 4 years and am currently in school at MCTC to become a LADC.
