A huge thanks to Leo Cleary, a junior at Saint Thomas Academy and a member of Scout Troop 3089 at Church of Christ the King in Minneapolis. He made two benches: a lost-and-found bench and a reading bench. Both benches have hinge tops that can be opened to store lost-and-found items or books. The project was part of Leo's preparation to become an Eagle Scout. Thanks, Leo.

This is a phenomenal opportunity for the right candidate to lead a dedicated staff and vibrant scholars in a small, urban Catholic school. Beyond being an incredible career move for a visionary leader, this role is critical to the continued success and growth of this important school in St. Paul's Rondo neighborhood. Saint Peter Claver remains a cornerstone of the community, and finding the right leader is vital for our scholars and families. As such, we are working to connect with our networks to thoughtfully build a pool of select, highly qualified candidates. We are seeking candidates who can lead with their faith, build strong relationships across a variety of stakeholders and communities, and have experience teaching, leading, and driving results in urban school environments.

These five kind and responsible 6th graders helped run our K–3 Peso Store throughout the year. In K–3, scholars earn pesos from teachers for making good choices and then use them to purchase items such as popcorn, juice boxes, mystery bags and pencils at the Peso Store. Their help made a big difference in keeping the Peso Store running smoothly and in encouraging positive behavior among our younger scholars.
