Congratulations to all December graduates, with an extra special congrats to our very own Ryan Fauglid! Ryan has been the PHSRC Communications and Operations Assistant since September 2022, and has brought so much creativity and strategic thinking into our communications.
After graduation, he will be starting a new position as Health Communications Associate with Allina Health! We’ll check in with Ryan later this spring to share more about his experience working inside a health care organization in a non-direct patient care role.

Twin Cities CAIMH Student Lounge: The Twin Cities' Center of American Indian and Minority Health has just opened a brand new lounge! Here, students will have access to a lounge area, traditional medicines, a kitchen, a pantry, a conference room, study spaces (individual and shared), a lactation room, and printing services! Location: Mayo Building and Additions (420 Delaware Street SE Minneapolis, MN 55455) in the Mayo G254 Suite.
Circle of Indigenous Nations (COIN): COIN offers a range of specialized services, programs, events, and resources to assist American Indian/Native American, Alaska Native, and First Nations students throughout their journey at the University. COIN also creates a welcoming on-campus space where Native and global Indigenous students are able to build relations with each other through shared interests, cultural values/traditions, and historical experiences.

In AHS 1612: Future Physician- Life & Work of a Physician, students will spend the semester learning from physician guest speakers and faculty about their different medical specialties and careers! AHS 1612 is a 1 credit class that meets Wednesdays from 3:35pm-4:25pm.
