Yep, you can fit your tabling supplies and your 6 year old in a solo burley trailer 😄🥲but the 6 year might be a little grumpy.
❤🚲☀😀 Inspiring to ride with Courtney who had never really learned to ride and hasn't been on a bike in 12 years. We started out praticing balance with the seat low, moved on to pedaling, and in just 1 session were riding around the block!

Fun to be out riding around Lake Street Friday! We made it to Mercado Central in time to grab empanadas and smoothies. It was beautiful to ride thru Powderhorn Park and see so many folks enjoying their evening. Thanks to the Joyful Riders Club for joining and leading and to Perennial Cycle for hosting us and fixing flats mid-ride! ❤ Lake Street Mpls for the support and beautiful vests😀

Friday evening ride from Perennial Cycle to Mercado Central for dinner. Our goal is to get more people comfortable riding bicycles to Lake Street destinations. Thinking about where to ride this weekend? Try heading over to the Great Blue Heron Rookery at Marshall Terrace Park in NE and then head to MoJo Monkey Coffee Gallery. We did this for the Birds & Coffee Ride with Sierra Club North Star Chapter and it was really awesome. A few weeks ago there were still lots of birds on their nests and you can be sure the coffee and treats will be good. Message me if you need more route tips, there is a little trail detour but you can make it around.

Looking to ride your bike more this summer ☀🚲? Sick of being stuck in traffic on Lake Street? Come bike ride with us to explore fun, safe neighborhood routes to all your favorite businesses. New, experienced, and infrequent bicyclists welcome.
Schedule:
5 - 6 pm, Pre-ride Q & A. Bike commuting tips & tune up Perennial Cycle. Come with your questions and to learn from League Certified Instructor & Bike Anywhere Founder Mary Blitzer.
6 - 8 pm, Bike ride! We’ll cruise through the neighborhood to Mercado Central, where you can choose from different local vendors. We’ll highlight neighborhood routes, parks, and access to Lake Street businesses along the way. Route is about 6 miles, at a slow, conversational pace.
All riders can enter to win prizes from the Community Coalition!
Wear a helmet, bring a lock (for when we eat at Mercado Central), plus a water bottle.
