Today we dressed in green to enjoy a joyful day with our children during our St. Patrick’s Day event. 👕🩳

Our teachers showed wonderful creativity by preparing different activities for the children to explore, play, and learn together. Through these experiences, we aim to introduce children to cultural traditions that help them learn more about the world around them.

We are grateful to our teachers for their dedication and enthusiasm, and to our children for participating with so much excitement in this special day. 🍀

🎶 Celebrating Music at School!! 🎶

This week at our center, our Toddlers, Preschool, and Pre-K classrooms explored projects all about music and sound. The children worked together with their teachers to create their own musical instruments, discovering different sounds and having lots of fun along the way.

Today we celebrated with a special musical parade around the center! 🥁🎺🎤🪇🥁🎸 Each classroom visited the others while playing their instruments and singing their favorite songs. It was a joyful moment where the children could interact with friends from other classrooms and proudly share the instruments they created.

Our children enjoyed a wonderful sensory activity using pasta. While exploring different textures, shapes, and sizes, they engaged their senses and sparked their natural curiosity.🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️🙋

Through these hands-on experiences, they are not only having fun — they are also strengthening their fine motor skills. Activities like manipulating pasta and using scissors to cut help develop hand strength, coordination, and control, all of which are essential for future writing and daily tasks.

Sensory play is a powerful way for children to learn. It encourages creativity, independence, focus, and confidence — all while they explore and discover through play. 💫👓🏅🧩

Nutrition plays a fundamental role in children’s growth and development. Healthy meals not only provide the energy they need to play, learn, and explore, but also help build positive eating habits from an early age. 🍎🥕🥗🥪🥝

At our center, we strive every day to prepare fresh, healthy, and nutritious meals, using recipes carefully designed to support the children’s well-being and development.
We would also like to highlight the wonderful work of our kitchen team, who with dedication and commitment carefully follow all food preparation and safety protocols, making sure that every meal is not only nutritious but also delicious.

Thanks to their daily effort, children can enjoy meals prepared with care and quality. We are very proud of their work! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

Today we want to give a very special recognition to our Teacher of the Month. 👏

He has been a tremendous support to our center, not only in the kitchen, where he consistently shows dedication and commitment, but also in other classrooms, spaces, and activities where his willingness to help truly makes a difference every day.
His positive attitude, responsibility, and teamwork reflect the spirit of collaboration we value so much. 🤗🤩

For Women’s History Month, we’re celebrating our very own Founder & CEO, Kristen Denzer. 💜

While searching for childcare for her own children, Kristen wanted more than the standard option. She envisioned a place where Spanish immersion, fresh, nutritious meals, nurturing classrooms and respected educators all existed together. When she couldn’t find it, she built it.

The first Tierra Encantada opened in 2013, where she proudly enrolled her own children. That same vision still exists today across all of our centers, giving families the childcare environments they deserve.

Read Across America Day is a nationwide celebration that promotes the joy and importance of reading, especially for children. 📚

🏕️ Camping Day in the Classroom! 🏕️

Today our little adventurers enjoyed a very special activity an indoor camping day! 🌲🔥

The children had so much fun pretending they were out camping. They “set up” tents, prepared imaginary campfire food, shared stories, and participated in different activities that are part of a typical camping experience. It was a day full of laughter, creativity, and teamwork.

Through dramatic play, they learned a little about what camping is like, the importance of nature, and how to cooperate with friends. But most importantly, they experienced the joy and excitement of these activities even without being outdoors!

Because with imagination, any place can turn into a great adventure. 🌟
