Our Story

The Delta Chi Fraternity was formed October 13th, 1890 at Cornell University. Originally founded as a law fraternity, today Delta Chi has more than 100,000 members at 120 chapters and colonies across North America. The four core pillars upon which the fraternity was founded are friendship, character, justice, and education, values that are exemplified every day by the men of the Minnesota chapter.

One of the first chapters of Delta Chi to be founded, our fraternity has been a part of the University of Minnesota since 1892. The men of the Minnesota chapter work tirelessly to improve themselves and the fraternity, and constantly strive for excellence in academics, campus relations, and in our philanthropic efforts. The chapter raises thousands of dollars every year for the Jimmy V Foundation for Cancer Research through events like Pelt-A-Chi.
