📸✨ Before we headed into Easter Break, our Faith in Action K–5 Leadership Team beautifully led a Holy Thursday prayer service for our school community. Students reflected on the meaning of Jesus’ love and sacrifice through prayer and a thoughtful reenactment of the Last Supper.
Witnessing our young leaders bring Scripture to life was a powerful reminder of the heart of Holy Week. 💜🕊️

🌎As part of their IB Unit of Inquiry: Where We Are in Place & Time, first grade explored the Mill City Museum today!

🌎Tomorrow, Tuesday April 22 is Earth Day!

🌍✨ IB Exhibition in Action! ✨🌍
Our amazing 5th graders put their years of learning into practice through the IB Exhibition! Using research, communication, social, thinking, and self-management skills they've built from K–5, students are diving deep into real-world issues.
Working in small groups & with a mentor, they explored a shared passion tied to both a Global Goal and a Catholic Social Teaching. They developed their own central idea, created lines of inquiry, conducted in-depth research, shared their findings, and most importantly—took action! 💪📚✝️
🌱 Topics included:
World Hunger (Haiti & Minneapolis)
Deforestation
Clean & Affordable Energy
Global Warming
Wildfires
Poverty (NYC & Haiti)
Pollution in the Pacific
Endangered Animals
Protecting Midwest Wildlife
These young changemakers are thinking globally and acting faithfully. We are so proud of their hard work, compassion, and leadership! 💡🌎❤️

✨From Death to Life!✨
Just as Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead, our students learned about Lazarus species—animals once thought to be extinct, but later rediscovered alive! 🐟
🐠They explored the fascinating story of the Coelacanth, a deep-sea fish once believed to have disappeared with the dinosaurs. 🦕➡️
To bring the lesson to life, the children also got hands-on with the fossil record, creating their own fossils out of Play-Doh. What a fun way to connect faith, science, and creativity! 👐🌍✝️

🎶Today, our 3rd through 5th grade students presented their Spring Creative Arts Showcase, "Who I'd Be".

🌟Yesterday, our Middle School students wowed us with their talent and teamwork as we kicked off a new tradition—the debut of our Middle School Musical, Shrek Jr.!💚
🎤From acting and singing to light and sound crew, set design, and more, it was truly a student-powered production.
🙌A huge shoutout to Ms. Stang for her dedication, creativity, and countless hours of work with our amazing students. We’re so proud of everyone who helped bring Shrek Jr. to life!

🛍️ Market Day Magic in 2nd Grade! 💰
As part of their IB Unit of Inquiry: How We Organize Ourselves, our creative and entrepreneurial 2nd grade students hosted Market Day!
They designed and ran their own shops, offering goods and services to classmates — all while practicing real-life skills like budgeting, spending wisely, and tracking earnings. 📊💡
It was a fun, hands-on way to explore how communities function and how businesses operate. We're so proud of our young thinkers and doers!
