This week, some first-year Auggies are starting their university life with the 2026 TRIO/SSS Summer Bridge program—an intensive, residential, and academic learning community. These students will then participate in TRIO/SSS all four years at Augsburg. Great appreciation goes to campus partners who continue to help make this program a huge success every year!

Already counting the days until campus is once again full of life.

Last month, Augsburg University’s student rocketry team participated in the Annual Midwest Rocketry Challenge. Augsburg’s team had six successful flights with four students earning their L1 certification in high-powered rocketry—proving to be their best year yet.

“The energy of students coming together to talk about their work over the past eight months was contagious,” says Augsburg Director of the School of Natural Sciences Ben Stottrup. “Augsburg students gained skills and confidence in problem-solving, engineering, design, and teamwork that will help them tackle future challenges regardless of career path.”
