If you've been poking your head in on this page from time to time you can clearly see that I haven't posted in a long time. A Druid's Duel was released on PC over a year ago and since that time I've worked on the iOS port (still unfinished) as well as a number of game prototypes, trying to find the energy for another title.

In related news, my son turns 6 months this Friday! He's fat and happy and sleeping more and more. This means I have some energy to put toward this whole game dev thing. You can expect a small increase in activity from Thoughtshelter going forward and into the summer.

First thing to announce is that I will be speaking at IGDA Twin Cities this Wednesday! I will be talking about the various lessons learned while making A Druid's Duel. The good, the bad, and all the mistakes laid bare for you to ridicule and learn from.

Update 1054 has been released for A Druid's Duel! It includes some cool new maps just waiting for adventurous druids to check them out. If you haven't played in a while, now's the time to hop on the new server and get your duel on!

Over a month in development, this is the biggest single update for A Druid's Duel since its release on Feb 25, 2015.

This update features widescreen support, new live online games, in-game chat, better balancing of 2 player games, audio settings options, bug fixes, and tons more! It also coincides with a promotion on Steam and inclusion in a Humble Bundle slated for early May.

Prepping for tomorrow's major update by testing and adjusting many of the multiplayer maps. Vaulted Wood is now more balanced and still quite stunning. Center Thaw is actually playable now thanks to some changes and Ill Temptations, the first map ever made, gets a new layout as well.

I am nervous, proud, and very excited to see what players think of all the changes in 105 :D
