Mission: We exist to engage urban Indigenous students by integrating and reclaiming Native American identities, cultures and languages through authentic academic experiences. Hello,

Our school has a brand new reading curriculum this year and that curriculum includes multiple, beautiful class sets of books for each grade level! Yay! We are so excited to get our kids reading and to read books as a class where each student has their own copy! I am wishing for 6 carts to help organize these new books. The idea is that each grade level at our school will receive a cart to organize their materials. Also included on this list are enrichment materials such as stuffed animals, post it notes, and magnifying glasses to help bring the stories alive for our students.

When text becomes a multi-sensory, emotionally engaging experience students move from passive decoders to active participants.
Our students love stories and they love the read. The tools in this list will help foster and grow that love of reading, while also helping the classroom teachers have a spot to organize all of the new books and materials.

Hello Anishinabe Academy Families,

We hope you are having an amazing summer. Summer is slowly coming to an end and we would like to invite you all to our Open House. Open House will be on Wednesday September 2nd from 3pm-6pm. We hope to see lots of families there. Have a great rest of the summer and see you all soon!
