A little late, but too special not to share. Here’s a glimpse of all the wonderful moments we enjoyed during May at our St. Louis Park center!
May was an incredibly fun, busy, and memorable month at our St. Louis Park center! 🌸✨

We celebrated Mother’s Day with refreshing iced coffee and special moments dedicated to the amazing mothers in our community. We also welcomed spring with our Spring Festival, where our Toddler, Preschool, and Pre-K classrooms delighted families with wonderful performances under beautiful sunny skies.

Throughout the month, we held our Spring Conferences and had the privilege of meeting with each of our wonderful families to discuss the growth, development, and achievements of their little ones.

We also celebrated Teacher Appreciation Week, a heartfelt time when our educators were showered with thoughtful gifts, sweet treats, and kind gestures that truly filled their hearts with gratitude.

To wrap up the month, the Tierra Encantada team came together for a day of training, collaboration, learning, and inspiration, strengthening our commitment to providing the very best for our children and families.

Expanding young palates is just as important to us as expanding young minds! Our scratch-made meals introduce children to a variety of flavors, textures and colors to help develop young taste buds.

It looks like the summer weather is finally here to stay! 🌞 We’re so excited to spend more time outdoors with the kids. Here’s a peek at our fun outdoor space at our center.

We want to recognize Gisela as our Employee of the Month for April. There are no words to fully describe the beautiful work she does in her classroom and the immense love and care she provides to the children.

She is extremely professional and has exceeded expectations in an incredible way. We are deeply proud to recognize Gisela for the third time as Teacher of the Month.

Her strong relationships and communication with families truly set her apart, along with her meticulous attention to the care of each child. The peace and harmony she brings not only to the children, but also to the staff and the entire center, is truly special.

Play, laughter, and learning - all in more than one language 💬

Bilingual children gain more than just vocabulary. They build stronger cognitive skills, better problem-solving abilities, and deeper cultural connections. Plus, switching between languages boosts focus and flexibility in thinking.

When kids learn through joy and connection, language becomes a bridge to the world 🌎❤️

During our Week of the Young Child inspired by NAEYC, we shared unforgettable moments with our little ones, their families, and our wonderful community. 💛

🎶 Music Monday: we kicked off the week with rhythm, songs, and lots of fun, exploring sounds and expressing ourselves through music.
🍎 Tasty Tuesday: we engaged in hands-on activities and creative projects to learn about nutrition and healthy eating habits.
🤝 Work Together Wednesday: we practiced teamwork, building friendships, cooperation, and respect for one another.
🎨 Artsy Thursday: we let our creativity shine through colorful art activities full of imagination and expression.
👨‍👩‍👧 Family Friday: we welcomed some parents who came to read with the children, while other classrooms shared conversations and activities about the importance of families, celebrating family love and connection and appreciating those who play such an important role in our children’s growth.

This special week highlighted the importance of early childhood learning, recognizing our children as active learners, and valuing the role of teachers, families, and the community in their development. 🌱
