Field trip to the Como Zoo! We had such a fun time seeing and learning about the different animals.

Our preschool classes took a field trip to Dodge Nature Center. They got to meet animals native to Minnesota and take a nature hike with one of the guides. Thank you Dodge for such a wonderful experience!

Our Pre-K class visited Art in Bloom at the MIA last week. Students completed a scavenger hunt, drew pictures of their favorite pieces, and admired the flowers and art.

SSFNC has expanded support for families impacted by the ongoing immigration crisis in Minneapolis.

Each week, we deliver food and essential household supplies—hygiene items, diapers, and cleaning products—and provide cost-of-living assistance as needed to help families cover rent and utilities.

While immigration raids may appear to be slowing, families are still living with uncertainty and fear. Recovery will take time.

Southside staff spent the day cooking a feast for families enrolled in our program! Thank you to everyone who came! It was so fun to celebrate the harvest and staff had a great time cooking and decorating 🍂🍁🍃

SSFNC visited Westwood Hills Nature Center! We had such a fun time watching a puppet show, observing and interacting with animals, and taking a nature walk!

How many toddlers can you fit in a giant drum? All students at SSFNC receive group music therapy classes weekly and children who qualify receive individual music therapy weekly as well. We are so happy to partner with for these amazing services.
