Our solar LEGO sets take building a sustainable future to a new level. âïž
We recently partnered with the University of Minnesota Twin Cities on their PV Symposium, where our solar LEGO sets - based on our Aurora solar farm in Minnesota - were used as examples of a solar landscape during The Blooming Energy Solar Design Workshop.
We love seeing institutions place significance on renewable energy and environmental education and hope University of Minnesota College of Design and Institute on the Environment â University of Minnesota students enjoyed the event! Learn more:

Congratulations, Class of 2022! đ
Did you know that the Goldstein Museum of Design shared over 400 objects with students in classrooms this past year? We are thrilled to be part of their educational experience at the University of Minnesota! GMD strives to serve as an academic resource for College of Design students by offering object-based learning opportunities.
Now, it's time for distinguished CDES students to start their new stage of life. With pride, GMD sends the class of 2022 the best wishes for their next adventure. Best of luck in your future endeavors, students!

Only ONE week left to enjoy the exhibit "Design for Youth: Equity and Opportunity"!
Organized by Julia Robinson, Ph.D., FAIA, "Design for Youth: Equity and Opportunity" explores the design of equitable and nurturing rehabilitation environments for youth and families, replacing outdated ideas about youth detention. The exhibition fosters a greater understanding of housing issues that help prevent ongoing youth incarceration from various perspectives such as location, staff versus resident spaces, sleeping spaces, hygiene, eating, and relaxing.
Design for Youth: Equity and Opportunity was curated in cooperation with research assistants and UMN students who took part in a 3-year course series focused on expanding youth opportunities. GMD is delighted to be a venue for this important exploration of youth detention and rehabilitation, which was developed with Professor Robinsonâs âprogramming as designâ approach. Come join us!
