Our Little Big Builders booth at Open Streets West Broadway was such a special moment — even with the rain cutting things short, the joy was real.
Shout out to Int'l Union of Painters and Allied Trades District Council 82 and Building Strong Communities for sponsoring and supporting our activity table you all made it possible for us to give the kids something hands-on, creative, and meaningful. Watching them paint their little birdhouses with the help of our amazing volunteers was everything.
It felt so good to connect with parents, caregivers, and neighbors this is what community looks like.
Thank you to everyone who showed up, stopped by, helped out, or just shared a smile. And huge thanks to the Open Streets Minneapolis West Broadway Business & Area Coalition for putting this together.
