Fanka 2013 FANKA (the art) is a new initiative/program at Ka Joog nonprofit Organization which started March 2012.
With this new initiative, we hope to not only bring together all the Somali artists around the world, but to celebrate their creativity and pieces. Ka Joog will partner with The Cedar Cultural Center, and other organizations in the Somali community to engage local, national, and international Somali artists to create, teach, present, and document the Somali oral traditions of poetry, storytelling,
