Carlson for Community (C4C) is thrilled to announce that, with your support, the Carlson MBA Charity Auction raised a total of $36,323.60 for our two beneficiaries - African American AIDS Task Force and Help At Your Door! We were able to donate $18,161.80 to each organization!
The entire C4C Board would like to thank you (again!) for all of your support this year. Whether you virtually attended the auction, donated an item, sponsored the auction, purchased an item, assisted us in running the auction, or helped spread the word, your involvement made an impact. Your generosity will make a big difference to AAATF and HAYD, and ensure these organizations are able to continue to help the individuals they support in our community, especially during these uncertain times. We couldn't be more excited!

C4C is incredibly excited to share that we will be hosting our 16th Annual Carlson MBA Charity Auction on Saturday, February 20th at 7pm! This is our first time holding our event VIRTUALLY, and our first time supporting TWO organizations - Help At Your Door and AFRICAN AMERICAN AIDS TASK FORCE.
ALL are invited to our auction this year, and we hope that you will join us, as all ticket fees and proceeds from the auction will go to help these organizations that are supporting individuals and communities adversely affected by the pandemic and racial injustices.
This year, C4C is supporting Help at Your Door and the African American Aids Task Force.

Carlson MBA Community,
We hope that this request finds you well and that you can assist us with a 3-minute survey related to charity auctions. You do not have to be a current CSOM student or local to the Twin Cities to participate, and in fact, we would appreciate it if you would share this with alumni, friends, and family!

EVENT UPDATE: Careers and Beers postponed until 2021
We have decided that we will be canceling Careers & Beers 2020, most currently scheduled on June 4. If you purchased tickets for the event, you will be automatically refunded by the U of M Events Calendar team.
The University is following the recommendation of the State of Minnesota, effective immediately and until further notice. All major venues at the University, systemwide, are closed to the public, and events will be canceled, rescheduled, or moved online where possible. We are working closely with public health officials and will regularly assess the ongoing need for these restrictions.
We have already booked the date for Careers & Beers 2021 (March 18, 2021) and hope that you'll join us for what is always a great night of networking and speakers!

At this time we have made the decision to postpone Careers and Beers 2020 until Thursday, June 4th. This decision is based on best-practices for large group gatherings and the availability Surly Brewing was able to offer. We still plan to offer a night of networking, speakers, and really great beer and appetizers. If you are a ticket holder, you are still registered for the June 4 date.
If the new date no longer works for you, we apologize and encourage you to forward this email to the U of M Events Calendar team at [email protected] to request a ticket refund.
